On our Venue page, and above this paragraph, there is a map. A map of the area around Ryerson's Rogers Communications Centre, where PodCamp Toronto is being held this year. This map is appropriately named the "Area Map", pretty genius right?

But this map is incomplete, and we need your help. This is a collaborative mapping effort to highlight some of the restaurants, hotels, and bars in the area. So if you know the area, live nearby, or have a passing familiarity with some of the local haunts we'd love to know. It's not too difficult to add your favorite places to our map either, but I've written a brief tutorial just in case.

Venture over to the map on Google maps.

Click on the edit button in the upper right hand of the menu pane to start editing the map. The page will then change state and you'll see a new set of controls appear next to the navigation disc.

Clicking the marker icon, the blue one in the middle, will allow you to drop a marker at the location you want to add to the map. You can then edit the details and icon of the location you just added.

The easier and more detailed method however is to do a search for the location you'd like to add to the map after you've clicked the edit button. Then at the bottom of the bubble there will be an option to add the location to your maps, clicking on this will produce a drop down and you'll be able to select the PodCamp Toronto map. Viola.

So please, help out those coming to town learn more about what we have to offer near Ryerson by adding to the map.
