Mobile-Enhanced PCTO Web Site Available!

If you have an iPhone or other Smartphone, we have created a mobile version of our web site, containing scheduling information and a live Twitter stream, and we are opening the site up for pre-event testing. One release note; not all the session descriptions are displaying. We should have that fixed by Saturday morning.

Mobile apps for PodCamp Toronto

Smart phones and tech events like PodCamp Toronto go hand in hand (pun unintended). Mobile apps make it easy for smart phones to help everyone share and stay updated on everything from impromptu sessions to lunchtime meet ups. Note taking, mapping, sharing photos, videos and audio during the event is a cinch. And they are also a great ice breaker when meeting new people!

Below is my list of iPhone apps (since I use an iPhone) which come in handy for me at tech events. I invite you to add your mobile app recommendations in the comments below— both iPhone and non-iPhones are welcome!

Without any help from us, rock stars like yourself have spread the word about PodCamp this year, it’s awesome to see over three-hundred people signing up purely through word of mouth throughout the community in less then a week.

So to help you keep on rocking, and spreading the good word, we’ve added a bunch “Rock St★r Accessories” to our downloads page for you to use at your leisure.

We have a number of banners in two distinct styles with sizes and formats for pretty much everyone, including you Goldilocks. You can also grab one of our slick mobile wallpapers, showcasing the awesome new logo, and rock PCTO on your mobile.
