Session Videos Now Available!

Posted by: John Meadows   on March 21, 2010 at 4:17 pm

While still a work in progress, session videos from Podcamp Toronto 2010 are now available, either as blip.tv links, or as streaming Quicktime, awaiting conversion to blip.tv (underway, but uploading and converting files does take a while).

Thanks to all those session attendees who found themselves pressed into service as camera operators!! You demonstrated the true spirit of Podcamp!

The updated media page (with video links) can be found here.

Mobile-Enhanced PCTO Web Site Available!

Posted by: John Meadows   on February 16, 2010 at 8:29 pm

If you have an iPhone or other Smartphone, we have created a mobile version of our web site, containing scheduling information and a live Twitter stream, and we are opening the site up for pre-event testing. One release note; not all the session descriptions are displaying. We should have that fixed by Saturday morning.

If you have any feedback or run into any issues, please send a tweet to @johnmeadows or leave a comment on this post.

Simply browse to http://m.podcamptoronto.com to access the mobile site.

If you are using an iPhone or iPod Touch, you can add a book mark to make the site instantly available on your home screen, with the Podcamp Toronto icon (see lower right corner below):

Mobile apps for PodCamp Toronto

Posted by: Daniele   on February 10, 2010 at 8:00 pm

Sessions Sign Up in Full Swing

Posted by: John Leschinski   on January 20, 2010 at 9:01 am

In little over a day since we flipped the switch on sessions registration we’ve gotten nineteen rock stars signed up to present on the big day. So I figured I’d throw together a quick list of seven questions you might have about what to do once you’ve submitted your session. Check them out below and if you have any other questions about sessions or signing up leave them in the comments below.

By the way big thanks to Bill Deys at CastRoller for helping us get it ready behind the scenes.

How do I get a fancy avatar?
