Sponsor Spotlight: CastRoller

PodCamp Toronto is proud to announce CastRoller as one of our silver sponsors for PodCamp Toronto 2010. CastRoller is an online podcast subscription tool where users can add their favorite podcasts and will receive personalized recommendations for podcasts.

We asked CastRoller’s William Spaetzel, Founder and Head Developer, about their involvement in this year’s event:

1. Why did you sponsor PodCamp?
We sponsored PodCamp because we love what PodCamp Toronto brings to the social media community in the area. There is no better place for Podcasters, Bloggers and Twitterers to get together, hang out, and learn new things about the medium that we love.

2. What are you most looking forward to at PodCamp this year?
I look forward to taking one of the few opportunities to meet up with friends who I normally only interact with online. I’m also looking forward to meeting new people in the community.

I look forward to John Meadows’ session, “Finding the Song: Editing an Interview As If It Were Music”. John’s podcast, On The Log, always has great editing, and I’m glad to have a chance to see how John puts it all together.

3. What session/speaker are you most interested in seeing?
It’s been said already on the PodCamp Toronto blog, but it’s worth repeating. When you are at PodCamp, talk to as many people as you can, everyone there is always open to meeting new people and it is amazing what you can learn, and the connections you can make by striking up conversations with random people in the hallways.
